Log In

To authorize in TestGear, go to the TestGear homepage available at your company TestGear address.

Log In as a Local User

Users added locally can use their credentials stored in TestGear.

  1. Select the Local connection type.

  2. Enter the user name stored in TestGear. Ig you do not know your TestGear user name, contact the TestGear administrator.

  3. Enter your TestGear password. If you do not know your password, contact the TestGear administrator.

    Select the Remember me checkbox to save your credentials for further authorizations.

  4. Click Login or press Enter.

Log In Using AD Credentials

To log in using your AD credentials, make sure that AD/LDAP connection is set up.

  1. Select your AD/LDAP connection type. Contact your system administrator to clarify it. Usually, the connection type name matches your OS account.

  2. Enter credentials that you use to log in to your OS account, for example, a Microsoft account. For user name, enter the e-mail omitting the domain. For example, for the john.doe@testgear.io e-mail, enter the user name john.doe.

    Select the Remember me checkbox to save your credentials for further authorizations.

  3. Click Login or press Enter.

Log In Using OpenID Connect

To log in, make sure that OpenID Connect is set up.

To log in:

  1. Click the login button with the service, for which OpenID Connect is set up. For example, GitLab.
  2. In a pop-up window that opens, log in to the service account, for example, GitLab.
