View Test Runs

To view the status of your autotest runs and launch history, open your project and select Autotests in the main toolbar. By default, the Test runs tab opens. From this tab, you can track test runs initiated from UI, via API, and using client libraries.

The test run table does not display test results that you assigned to an automated test point manually.

Filter Test Runs

Filter your test runs by their status and launch date.

  • To filter the test runs by their status, click Add condition and click the status you want to assign from a drop-down menu.

  • To filter test runs by the launch date:

    • Select a timeframe you want to track from a preset.

    • Select a custom period or exact date using a calendar.

View Test Run Details

View the results of autotests launched during a test run using a test run card:

  1. Open the project.
  2. Select Autotests in the main toolbar.
  3. In the Test runs tab, click a test run you want to explore to open the test run card.

The card displays a table with data for all autotests launched in this test run. The data is collected from autotest metadata. To open a test result card and view details about the result of a certain autotest, click this autotest in the table.

You can change the default test run name using the POST /api/v2/testRuns method of Swagger API.

Filter Autotests by Results

View analytics data for test results in your test run and filter the data in the table by these results using the Tests by results pane in the test run card.

To filter the data in the table, click the result. The data layout automatically filters by the selected result.

Filter Autotests by Error Categories

View analytics data for autotest failure reasons and filter the data in the table using the Analysis of error categories pane. To filter the data in the table, click the error category in the pane. The data layout automatically filters by the selected error category.

Build Analytics for Error Categories

Mark failed autotests with error categories to build up analytics on test failures. To assign an error category to a test:

  1. Select checkboxes next to the test(s) you want to assign an error category to.

  2. Click Specify the reason above the table of tests.

  3. Select a failure reason (Product, Infrastructure, Autotest, and No defects). If necessary, leave a comment or an attachment.

  4. Click Save.

For more information about error categories, see Analyze Autotest Failures.

Analyze Autotest Results

View detailed information about each autotest in a test run in the test resuls card. You can do the following:

  • View the test result, completion time, and a configuration.
  • Trace the results of pre-/postconditions and each step of the test.
  • View a stack trace that caused an autotest failure. You can save it as a regular expression. In this case, the system automatically assigns an associated error category to the failed tests containing this regular expression.
  • Set a test failure reason.
  • Trace the launch history of this test point ().
